The Purple Ohm Fuzz is a fuzz pedal for electric guitar, designed by Oliver FX and hand-built in Great Britain. It's rooted in one of the most iconic fuzz circuits in guitar history - the same family of tones that powered psychedelic London, glam-era rock, and some of the most celebrated solos ever recorded. From gritty, crunchy sharp-nine chords through to thick, soaring sustain that sings with emotion, the Purple Ohm covers serious ground. Three simple controls and a Voice switch let you shape your sound quickly without overcomplicating things. It's built with premium components, features hand-drawn original artwork, and is designed for guitarists who want a versatile, high-quality fuzz pedal that sounds as good at bedroom volume as it does on stage.

Controls
Level - controls the overall output level. This pedal has plenty of volume on tap - more than enough to push the front end of your amp or stand out in a band mix.
Tone - shapes the tonal character of your fuzz. Like certain classic “Muff style” circuits, the tone control on the Purple Ohm is reversed. Turning clockwise increases bass and mid-range content, giving you a thicker, warmer voice. Turning counter-clockwise reduces them, opening up the top end for a brighter, more cutting sound.
Gain (the purple knob) - sets the amount of fuzz from mild, dirty crunch through to full saturation. At lower settings you’ll find an articulate, responsive drive as the gain stages warm up. Crank it and the pedal opens up into rich, blooming sustain and sweet gain.
Voice switch - a subtle voice toggle that shifts the bass and mid-range response, adding more bite when in the “up position”, allowing you to fine-tune the pedal to suit your guitar and amp.
Power - This pedal was designed around the use of a 9V DC centre pin negative power source. To avoid damage to the pedal, do not exceed 9V DC. Do not use center pin positive adapters, and do not use AC power. Use only a 9V DC power source that is intended for guitar pedals. This pedal draws approximately 25mA at 9V. There is no battery or battery connector within the pedal. There are magic tone fairies though.
